HAPA WOW is a multi-specialist service provider for the hospitality, tourism and food and beverage industries.
The HAPA WOW Programme, which consists of a digital hub, an awards system and a training platform, brings hospitality WOW experiences together to recognise, reward and rejuvenate the industry and its patrons.
What is the HAPA WOW Platform?
The HAPA WOW platform is our digital flagship and the first touch-point for our business and public consumers. It features WOW moments in customer experience and business stories on hospitality, products and personalities for industry professionals.
Our platform enables members of the public to be the judges of service excellence and to recognise passionate Service Heroes who go the extra mile to create WOW moments. The first step begins with establishments creating WOW moments by providing fantastic service and experiences. Customers who acknowledge this can capture it and share their WOW moments on social media using the #HAPAWOW hashtag. These moments are selected by our team and featured on our HAPA WOW platform, and, in return for their collaboration, individual story publishers stand a chance to win great prizes for the best WOW moments.
What is the HAPA WOW Awards?
HAPA WOW believes that recognition should not be the only factor in acknowledging brilliant customer experiences; rewarding outstanding performance and any form of positivity is as important. Thus, the entire programme culminates into the HAPA WOW Awards, a sub-series of our HAPA Awards. Unlike the HAPA Awards, which focuses on companies, entrepreneurs and leaders of hospitality, the HAPA WOW Awards focuses on Service Heroes – the people on the ground.
What is the HAPA WOW Training?
HAPA WOW Training is the natural next step after our HAPA WOW Awards as it allows establishments and individuals to push themselves. We shift the focus from driving monotonous work to how establishments and their staff can work cohesively. We look towards inspiring hospitality talents to have pride in their service and establishment, to take ownership of their positions and to create WOW moments for their customers wherever they can.
What is the purpose of the HAPA WOW Programme?
Recognition, reward and rejuvenation – with this cycle of positivity promoting better quality service and more outstanding experiences through the appreciation and celebration of those WOW experiences, HAPA WOW aims to energise those in and around the hospitality industry.
We promote positivity through the HAPA WOW platform. We encourage the appreciation of ‘Service Heroes’, and we give due recognition to those Heroes, establishments and customers.
Alongside this, our industry insights carry on our 25 years of publication history as Hospitality Asia, allowing us to continue our long-standing service to the industry through the acknowledgement and appreciation of spectacular service, establishments and individuals. Our awards, in turn, target the recognition and reward aspect of the cycle; and training allows the industry to move forward into the future.
How are HAPA WOW and HAPA Group connected?
HAPA started 25 years ago with the industry publication called Hospitality Asia. We then added to our portfolio: HAPA Awards, the leading industry award; HAPA Training, the service industry’s go-to training provider; and HAPA Events. Now at the height of the digital revolution, we have transformed into HAPA WOW, with Hospitality Asia merged into our online platform.
